Welcome, Little Samantha!
I’ve been photographing this family since their oldest daughter was six months old. Now there are three of them! It’s been a joy to watch them grow. Here are newborn photos of their newest addition, Samantha. I hope you enjoy the sweetness of these little ones and a few with their beautiful mama, too! 🙂
The Mansell Family
Hello! At the beginning of June, I had a really fun time photographing my brother’s family as they anticipate the coming of a fifth child to their family. I know I’m biased, but this is honestly one of the cutest families on the planet. 🙂 I hope you enjoy these photos from our time together!
Sneak Peek: Lots to Come!
Hi there! It’s been a busy few months here. I’ve just returned from a cross-country road trip from Indiana to Los Angeles and have lots to share from that adventure! Here are some sneak peeks of sessions and travel posts I will be sharing soon. Stay tuned!

Here is a recreation of a shot I took of three of my brother’s children a few years ago. More photos of my brother and sister-in-law’s family coming soon!

This is the lovely baby who came from the last maternity photo session I posted. Look back for more newborn photos of Liam soon!

I’ve been photographing these kids since this big sister was six months old! Look back soon for newborn photos of this beautiful baby sister!
The Mansoori Girls are Growing!
Last month I had a wonderful time catching up with the Mansoori family and seeing how their girls have grown since our last photo shoot. Lily continues to be a wonderful big sister to Layla, who has grown quite a bit since her newborn photos! It was really fun to photograph them in their element at home. For some of the photos, the girls wore their Persian dress up clothes, an adorable piece of their heritage that I really enjoyed documenting for them. I hope you enjoy these photos!
Baby Lucy
Hello there!
Little Lucy made her debut in January and I really enjoyed documenting her newborn stage and her family of four in these photos from the end of January. It was such a great excuse to get to know the wonderful Smith family. I had trouble narrowing down the photos for this blog post as the girls did such a great job and I ended up with a lot of sweet moments. Hope you enjoy these photos of this lovely family!
The Beringer Family Has Grown!
Hello there! I’m finally getting a bit caught up on photos and wanted to share photos of these great people with you. You may remember this family from my trip to Cambodia a couple years ago. They were home for a few months and I had the pleasure of catching up with them about life in Phnom Penh and really enjoyed meeting their newest son last month! We had a great time borrowing our friend’s parents’ home for a quick photo shoot to document the start of this new stage of life now that they’re a family of four. It was great to see how their oldest son has grown and little Elim did a great job looking cute for these photos. 🙂 Enjoy the pics!
Nathan is One!
Hello there! I hope you’re all staying warm and are enjoying February! Last month I had the privilege of taking photos of Mr. Nathan when he turned one year old. This family is one of my repeat clients and I so appreciate the chance to document their family milestones! Enjoy these photos and stay warm out there!!
The Fredells
I had the fantastic privilege last month of photographing my high school friends’ family. They recently returned from adopting their two adorable daughters and I had a wonderful time doing a little photo shoot with them. You may remember Samantha from our Hawaiian adventure last spring. We’ve been friends since junior high and have stacked up quite a few fun shared memories and travels over the years. I’m so glad she and Jeremy asked me to document their first official family photos for them!
The Smith Family in the Fall
The Smith Family braved a chilly day with me for some family photos in November and I’m so glad they did! You may remember my coworker’s lovely family from their family photos last summer. I love how Tatiana dressed up her little one for these photos and I hope you enjoy them!
A Preview of What I’ve Been Up To…
Hey friends!
I’ve been absent from this blog for a bit and have slightly lightened my photography load for the time being to focus on teaching this fall/winter. Here is a sneak peek of a couple shoots I’ve done over the last couple months and the trip from Honduras that I took over Thanksgiving. I’ll be posting more from these soon!

Here’s one of my favorite views from one of my favorite places! Tegucigalpa in November, as seen from the drive from El Hatillo.
Hope you enjoyed a preview of what I’ll be posting more of soon! Have a great Christmas season!
Addison and Nathan
Hello there! I’m so excited to share these photos from such a great family. You may remember past posts I’ve added of Addison and Nathan growing up. It was great to meet up with this family again to capture Addison as a three-year-old and the family together. I hope you enjoy these shots from our time together!
Levi… and another one on the way!
I photographed Levi and his parents (my friends Chrissy and Kevin) last year in July and had a great time doing another shoot this year while we were all in Pennsylvania at the end of July. Check out how much he’s grown and now he’s preparing to be a big brother! Thanks, Kevin and Chrissy, for the opportunity to capture your lovely family!
Bri & Kelsey
Bri has appeared on this blog twice before, and has proven to be pretty memorable. When I tell people I’ve photographed the girl with the curly hair and blue eyes again, most of my friends remember exactly who I mean. She’s a beauty! And now she has an equally beautiful little sister! It was so great to catch up with my friend (their mom) and the girls when I was “home-home” in Pennsylvania and they were in town for the missions conference for a week in July. The girls had impressive endurance to make it through this photo shoot. I had trouble narrowing down the photos to show you here… I hope you enjoy them!
Summer Sneak Peeks
Hi All!
I’ve been pretty silent here recently due to the return to teaching at the end of July, but I haven’t stopped taking photos! Here is a sneak peek of some sessions from July that I will be blogging in the near future! I’m also excited to share my first maternity photo shoot with you from this month too. More to come soon!

You may remember this little lady from summer past. So fun to welcome her little sister into the photo shoot this year!
I can’t wait to share more of these photo sessions with you soon! As soon as I get my lesson plans and reading classes together, that is! 🙂
The Mansoori Family
I had the great privilege of meeting and photographing this family a few weeks ago. They were so welcoming and their gorgeous family (and gorgeous home) made my job pretty easy! Lilly was an extremely helpful and loving big sister to her two-week old baby sister as I took these photos. The Mansooris were so easy to work with and up to try any photo ideas I had. I’m so glad it worked out for me to help capture the new addition to their family! I hope you enjoy these highlights from our session!
…and now there are 4!
You may recall my newest niece’s newborn photos from summer and her lovely family’s photos from last spring. Now I’m thrilled to bring you Betty’s six-month photos, as well as photos of the four kids together. One thing is for sure, my siblings make really beautiful children. I absolutely love that I live just fifteen minutes away from these little niblings (does it count as a word if it’s in urban dictionary but not on dictionary.com?) who never fail to make me laugh and give me lots of love every time I hang out with them. Alright, enough words, here are the little beauties!
The Franklins
I met the Franklins through a mutual friend (Thanks for the recommendation, Candice!). I really enjoyed seeing these hard-working parents and adorable children in action. We had a lovely setting at the Traders Point Creamery for these photos. Enjoy!
The Hosselton Family
Thanksgiving break is giving me a chance to catch up on belated blog posts. My friends Jenny and Kevin were kind enough to book me in my early photography days for Laney’s four-month photos. Well, Laney is a big sister now and I had the chance to capture Jenny’s extended family in photos back in September. The Hosseltons were all together for the grandparents’ move and took some time out for family photos at Southeastway Park in Indianapolis. I had a great time capturing their families and seeing the cousins interacting and enjoying time together. It was good practice for the next time I get to attempt a group photo of my huge family with a bunch of little kids. 🙂 Here is a sampling of some of the group photos of the Hosselton clan.
Addison is Two!
Addison’s mom took a chance on me, the newbie photographer, a ways back for Addison’s six-month photos. I’m so glad she did! It’s been fun to watch Addison grow up! I had so much fun capturing her in action back in September for some two-year photos. Here are some highlights!
One Year Old!
This blog post is only four months late. 🙂 I thought you all would appreciate a glimpse back at the wonder of summertime. I had a great time photographing my friends Chrissy and Kevin and their little guy Levi before his first birthday last summer. Hope you enjoy these photos!
Sneak Peek- More to come soon!
Hi everyone! As happens each new school year, I’ve had to put some blog posts on the back burner since August.
Here are some sneak peeks of what is coming in the next few weeks. I’m going to leave you with these and go enjoy my fall break for a bit now! 🙂 Be back soon!
Three Years Later
The last time I saw this family (of a great friend of mine from high school) was when I took their photos three years ago. It was fun to once again see how these kids have grown when I was home in PA in July. She commented that her wall was covered with my photos of the five kids three years ago and was worried that pretty soon #6 may be offended that she wasn’t included. I was happy to help provide some updated photos of this beautiful family! Enjoy! (Side note: I’m trying to figure out how to improve the clarity of my blog photos to reflect the originals, but decided not to make you all wait the months it will take for me to figure that out, so please just imagine them a bit crisper than they appear here!)
Bri
Many of you may remember this session with Bri from last year. Well, I got to hang out with her again last month while we were both in Pennsylvania and had a great time. Bri is three now and she can’t wait to be a big sister in a few months (and I can’t wait to see how beautiful that baby will be!). We had a fun time getting some shots one morning in PA and I loved reconnecting with my friend (her mom) once again. Enjoy these photos!
The Mansell Family
Now that school is out for summer, I have a second to sit down and post these pictures from last month. These photos are of my great brother and sister-in-law and their really adorable and fun children. We had a beautiful evening walking around a park the night of their wedding anniversary. Can’t wait to meet #4 in July!
