Fritts Family 2020
They’re back on the blog! I continue to be grateful for the Fritts family and the opportunity to document them through photos as the kids grow up! Here are some highlights from their latest session:
The B Family

I am such a big fan of this family. It’s such a joy to have known them for the past nine years and to watch their family grow to five this past year. I loved taking both their newborn photos and some Christmas photos for them back in 2019. Here are some photos from both of those sessions!
Fritts Family Photos
These friends are regulars here on the blog. I can’t believe I’ve been watching their family grow over the past eight years now. We had a fun morning taking these photos for their Christmas card. It’s been so fun to become friends with them thanks so this side gig of mine!
The Neddermans
Repeat clients are so fun, both because it’s so fun to catch up with them and to watch the kids grow over the years. And these boys have grown up quite a bit since our last session!
This fall we braved the hordes of photographers with families on a beautiful fall day at Holcomb Gardens on Butler’s campus and had a fun time exploring. The Neddermans make my job easy!
Rori
When my niece’s daughter was born at the end of June and a photo was texted, I responded like most people by exclaiming, “That hair!” I was thrilled to have the chance to capture this beauty when I was home-home in Pennsylvania in July. I love her and her siblings and it was delightful to capture them in these pictures. I’m sure they were cherish the memory of Rori being this little, as well as her big brother’s camo cast from a recent tumble. 🙂

Now There Are Four!
It was so much fun to return to the Franklin home and photograph them with their newest baby! It’s been a delight to see them grow through the years! Enjoy the latest photos of this beautiful family!
The Fredells
Following an extremely rainy day in December, I was so grateful for a clear day in which to meet up with my friends from high school and take some photos of their family! We had a great time at Highbanks Metro Park in Columbus, OH. I love watching these girls grow up. Click here to see one of our previous photo sessions. 🙂
A Fall Day on the East Side
Matt and Ashley have been a part of my life for the past eight years. We’ve been in the same community group through church, weekly investing in each other’s lives, and I’m so grateful they’re my friends. I had a fantastic time photographing them with their daughter in their beautiful home this fall!

The Byrums
I had a really delightful time photographing this lovely family this past fall at Turkeyfoot Nature Park. I had taken their photos a few years ago, so it was great fun to see them again and to see how the boys have grown!
The Sattlers
I loved getting to see the Sattlers a few months ago and capturing their family in action at Marott Park! They’ve come a long way since I photographed their wedding a few years back and have added a couple adorable kids to their family!
The Nedderman Family
In the spring, I had a great time catching up with my hometown friend Kara and her family. It was wonderful to meet their littlest one (you may recall them from these photos before his arrival). I hope you enjoy these photos from our time together at Flat Fork Creek Park!
The Beringer Boys
I really enjoy photographing my friends’ families. It’s crazy to think about all that has changed since I visited these friends while they lived in Cambodia. It was really wonderful capturing the joy of their newest addition. Enjoy the cuteness of these brothers!
A November Day with the Fredells
I loved having the chance to catch up with my friends, the Fredells, in November! You’ve seen them before on this blog here and here. It’s really a joy to see their girls grow and catch up with them whenever we’re all home-home in PA. 🙂
The Fritts Six
Hello there! I’ve loved getting back into family photography this fall and had a great time documenting this growing family, some of my most loyal clients! This sweet family welcomed their fourth child recently and I loved capturing his cuteness in these photos!
The Mansell Kids
This past summer, I had the joy (and fun challenge) of photographing my brother and sister-in-law’s children, some of my favorite kids in the world. Being that photos by Aunt Jenni aren’t a novelty to them, the group pics were an amusing challenge (see the last photo for evidence of this). As usual, it wasn’t difficult to get their beauty to shine through in the individual photos. 🙂 I love that they have made frequent appearances on this blog. It’s a joy to watch them grow!
Baby Brother on the Way
This family has made quite a few appearances on my blog! It’s so fun to capture them as they grow. True confession: Baby boy has already arrived and is pretty much ready to drive at this point due to my delay in posting here. Ok, it’s not quite that extreme… I took these photos last spring before baby boy’s summer arrival (while I was out of town, sadly). 🙂
We had a great time getting these family photos in Indy. I always enjoy reminiscing with Kara about our shared hometown in Pennsylvania and their little one has become my buddy! I look forward to twice the fun next time we’re able to hang out!
The Franklin Family Has Grown!

I’m alive!! I thought it was time for me to take a break from educating the future of America (and traveling all summer) to update this blog and let you know that I’m still around and taking photos. 🙂

Welcome back to my super outdated blog! 🙂 As many of you know, 2015 was a tough year for me as I adjusted to my dad having passed away and continued to work and photograph on the side. This blog took a backseat to other things. This post is my attempt to catch the blog up on the photography that I did that year so this blog can continue to showcase examples of my work. Addison is Four!
It’s been so fun to watch this little girl grow up! I started photographing her when she was six months old and all of a sudden she is four and has two little siblings! It was lovely spending some time with all three of these children a couple weeks ago. I hope you enjoy these sweet photos of them!
Levi is a big brother!
Hello there!
As with every delayed blog post excuse I write, I’m a bit behind due to that whole full-time teacher thing I do. Nonetheless, I had to share these photos even if they’re a couple months late. When I was home in PA this summer, I had the chance to photograph my friends’ children one morning. You may remember Levi from some of my blog posts over the last couple years. It’s always so fun to look back and see how kids grow from year to year. 🙂 I’m so glad I was able to document this family again, and now with little sister Laurel to join the photos! I hope you enjoy these!
Now there are seven!
I’ve had the privilege of photographing my high school friend’s growing family over the last few years. Two years later, there’s an addition in these photos! While I was home in Pennsylvania a few weeks ago, I had a fun visit out to the farm to do a quick photo shoot of this beautiful crew. Photographing seven is good practice for me as I anticipate time with my sister’s family this fall! I hope you enjoy these few highlights from my time with them!
