Mira Jane
I’m home in Pennsylvania for my spring break this week and had a wonderful time visiting my niece and her husband on Saturday and meeting their new daughter, Mira, who is just over two weeks old. You may remember Mira’s parents from their wedding photos a few years back. I couldn’t resist the chance to take some photos of this family of three during my visit. Here are some of my favorites. Enjoy!
Baby Lucy
Hello there!
Little Lucy made her debut in January and I really enjoyed documenting her newborn stage and her family of four in these photos from the end of January. It was such a great excuse to get to know the wonderful Smith family. I had trouble narrowing down the photos for this blog post as the girls did such a great job and I ended up with a lot of sweet moments. Hope you enjoy these photos of this lovely family!
The Beringer Family Has Grown!
Hello there! I’m finally getting a bit caught up on photos and wanted to share photos of these great people with you. You may remember this family from my trip to Cambodia a couple years ago. They were home for a few months and I had the pleasure of catching up with them about life in Phnom Penh and really enjoyed meeting their newest son last month! We had a great time borrowing our friend’s parents’ home for a quick photo shoot to document the start of this new stage of life now that they’re a family of four. It was great to see how their oldest son has grown and little Elim did a great job looking cute for these photos. 🙂 Enjoy the pics!
The Fredells
I had the fantastic privilege last month of photographing my high school friends’ family. They recently returned from adopting their two adorable daughters and I had a wonderful time doing a little photo shoot with them. You may remember Samantha from our Hawaiian adventure last spring. We’ve been friends since junior high and have stacked up quite a few fun shared memories and travels over the years. I’m so glad she and Jeremy asked me to document their first official family photos for them!
The Smith Family in the Fall
The Smith Family braved a chilly day with me for some family photos in November and I’m so glad they did! You may remember my coworker’s lovely family from their family photos last summer. I love how Tatiana dressed up her little one for these photos and I hope you enjoy them!
Baby N is Here!
As I said before, I’m a bit behind with blogging. However, I figure it’s better late than never when it comes to sharing photos from the newborn and family session I did with this cute little guy! Last fall, I posted maternity photos for this family, Kara and Drew. Kara and I grew up in the same town in PA and now we both live in the Indy area. It’s a fun connection and I love that they asked me to capture their growing family in photos. Their son, Grant, came along in September and I really enjoyed photographing their life together when I visited their home in October. Here are a few of my favorite photos of them together. Enjoy!
Addison and Nathan
Hello there! I’m so excited to share these photos from such a great family. You may remember past posts I’ve added of Addison and Nathan growing up. It was great to meet up with this family again to capture Addison as a three-year-old and the family together. I hope you enjoy these shots from our time together!
Levi… and another one on the way!
I photographed Levi and his parents (my friends Chrissy and Kevin) last year in July and had a great time doing another shoot this year while we were all in Pennsylvania at the end of July. Check out how much he’s grown and now he’s preparing to be a big brother! Thanks, Kevin and Chrissy, for the opportunity to capture your lovely family!
South Carolina Family Sessions- Sheldon, SC
I had a great privilege a couple weeks ago when I was visiting my brother’s family in South Carolina. Remember that beautiful plantation I photographed? I got to do some family photos for my brother’s family and some family friends of theirs at that same plantation a few weeks ago. Here are some of my favorites!
Here is my new friend with her little girls:
And here are my newest Honduran friends:
And here we have the family of my brother and sister-in-law (with his eight youngest children. Unfortunately his two oldest weren’t in town for this photo shoot):
Here is the whole crew together:
Since this was my family I was shooting, I got in on the fun too!
The Smith Family
Isn’t this little girl adorable? I had a great time taking photos of this lovely family a couple weeks ago. Tatiana is a very gifted, hard-working ESL teacher who works with me at our school on the west side of Indianapolis. I was so honored that she wanted me to help document their family in photos. Seeing little Sofia with her older brother made me think of what it must have been like for my teenage brothers when I was a baby… such a sweet bond they have! Here are some highlights from our time together. Enjoy!
The Mansoori Family
I had the great privilege of meeting and photographing this family a few weeks ago. They were so welcoming and their gorgeous family (and gorgeous home) made my job pretty easy! Lilly was an extremely helpful and loving big sister to her two-week old baby sister as I took these photos. The Mansooris were so easy to work with and up to try any photo ideas I had. I’m so glad it worked out for me to help capture the new addition to their family! I hope you enjoy these highlights from our session!
The Franklins
I met the Franklins through a mutual friend (Thanks for the recommendation, Candice!). I really enjoyed seeing these hard-working parents and adorable children in action. We had a lovely setting at the Traders Point Creamery for these photos. Enjoy!
The Hosselton Family
Thanksgiving break is giving me a chance to catch up on belated blog posts. My friends Jenny and Kevin were kind enough to book me in my early photography days for Laney’s four-month photos. Well, Laney is a big sister now and I had the chance to capture Jenny’s extended family in photos back in September. The Hosseltons were all together for the grandparents’ move and took some time out for family photos at Southeastway Park in Indianapolis. I had a great time capturing their families and seeing the cousins interacting and enjoying time together. It was good practice for the next time I get to attempt a group photo of my huge family with a bunch of little kids. 🙂 Here is a sampling of some of the group photos of the Hosselton clan.
One Year Old!
This blog post is only four months late. 🙂 I thought you all would appreciate a glimpse back at the wonder of summertime. I had a great time photographing my friends Chrissy and Kevin and their little guy Levi before his first birthday last summer. Hope you enjoy these photos!
Sneak Peek- More to come soon!
Hi everyone! As happens each new school year, I’ve had to put some blog posts on the back burner since August.
Here are some sneak peeks of what is coming in the next few weeks. I’m going to leave you with these and go enjoy my fall break for a bit now! 🙂 Be back soon!
The Mansell Family
Now that school is out for summer, I have a second to sit down and post these pictures from last month. These photos are of my great brother and sister-in-law and their really adorable and fun children. We had a beautiful evening walking around a park the night of their wedding anniversary. Can’t wait to meet #4 in July!
Sneak Peek- I get to call these adorable children my nieces and nephew!
You may recognize these kiddos from some previous posts of mine (look here and here). I can’t resist posting this sneak peek of a family session I did last weekend with my brother’s family. There are more to come soon!
Katy, Alan, and Jonah: Visiting from Cambodia
You may remember these friends as the great people who helped show me around the beautiful country of Cambodia this past summer, from Angkor Wat to Battambang to Phnom Penh and Kep (photos of that are still to come). Well, their family has since grown from this back in June:
to this:
They came home to the U.S. for Christmas and I had a great time catching up with them on a chilly Indianapolis day. The weather didn’t cooperate much for an outdoor photoshoot, but we had fun nonetheless. 🙂
Here are a few more fun shots from our time at the beginning of this month. Enjoy!
Mass Ave Toys was a great place to warm up and check out some fun toys. This little guy was very intent in checking out the world, with his fingers getting pretty close to pointing to the place where he was born… it’s like he knew. 🙂
The Mansell Family
Now that Christmas cards are sent out, I can share these pictures. Over Thanksgiving I had the chance to take family photos for my brother’s family. It wasn’t difficult since they are some of the cutest kids in the world! Many thanks to one of my other brothers and niece who stood behind me and helped get the smiles you see here. Enjoy!
The Yang/Macke Cousins
I had such a fun time hanging out with my friends’ sons last month in Fort Wayne. We had a session with Levi at home and then met up with his cousin for some Christmas pictures. As you can see from the photos, these boys are on the move! Enjoy!
- Went for a vintage look with this edit.
- Someone dropped their toy!
The Clemmers- Indianapolis Family Photography
These are some great friends of mine from my community group at church. Knowing they were heading back to the great state of Pennsylvania (we share a home state!) for a while, I was excited to help document this stage of their family’s life before they left. Many thanks to our friends who helped out with entertaining the boys and getting some smiles out of them during our quick photo shoot! 🙂
The Vayanos Family
I had the joy of photographing the Vayanos family near Pittsburgh over fall break last month. Marlynn and I go way back to Kindergarten and it’s been great getting to know Steve over the past few years as well, so it was really fun to play a part in documenting this stage of their family in photos. I’ll allow the cuteness of this family to speak for itself. Enjoy!
Calvin and Lucy- A Photo Session in Singapore
Last month I had a great time visiting my cousin in Singapore and spending time with her and her family. We had a chance to get a few photos of their adorable kids, aged 2 years and 10 months, in action one morning. They are really fun children with gorgeous eyes and really entertaining personalities. Calvin wasn’t quite as enthused about having his picture taken, so Lucy receives a bit more representation in this post. I know his parents have plenty of adorable pictures of him, so I think it’s ok that Lucy got to shine on this day. Does this mean I can add International Children’s Photographer to my title now? 😉
I hope you enjoy a few pictures of our time together. There’s much more to come from my Southeast Asia adventures soon on the blog!
The Goodwin Family
I’ve been so excited to post these pictures on here. I had a great time taking some photos for the Goodwin family this past weekend. Perfect morning light and a beautiful family made my job pretty easy! Theo is an absolutely adorable one-year-old and was a natural in front of the camera. Andy and Jamie, thanks so much for the opportunity to take pictures of your great family! Enjoy a few shots from our time together!
Someone wanted in on the fun!
